CEVAS Education courses

On CEVAS Education courses attendees will learn how food and farming can be incorporated into the school curriculum, and how to communicate effectively with both teachers and pupils. With the help of your tutor you will gather useful documents into a portfolio which is then submitted for accreditation. Our tutors help you every step of the way!

Two-day in-person CEVAS Education course

Our two-day in-person CEVAS Education course brings together farmers at a rural location for a packed schedule to learn about the practicalities involved in hosting visits, how food and farming can be incorporated into the school curriculum, and how to communicate effectively with both teachers and pupils. Sessions are led by our experienced team providing insights from a school’s perspective as well as seasoned farm visit veterans.-

CEVAS Education Online Courses

CEVAS Education online courses are great for those that can't commit to a two-day course or who don't want to travel. It brings all the same content as our in-person courses delivered to the comfort of your kitchen table. These live online sessions will bring together a small group of attendees to learn all about the fantastic opportunities and the challenges that come from hosting farm visits.

Our team of experienced course leaders have adapted the CEVAS Education in-person course content to be delivered online in easily digestible sessions with access to live tutors and networking opportunities just as you would through a two-day in-person course.

CEVAS Education Plus courses

CEVAS Education Plus courses are designed to update those who attended a CEVAS Education course over two years ago and now want to ensure they are familiar with any changes that have taken place in schools and with reference to on-farm education such as the most up-to-date Industry Code of Practice. Successful candidates are awarded a level 3 Open College Network accreditation.
